Both plans cover mechanical and electrical failures — the things that actually go wrong with appliances. Compressor stops working, motor fails, control board goes out — that's what warranty is for.
If we can repair it, we repair it. If we can't, we replace it. We work with a third-party warranty provider to back the 1-year plan so it's not just our word.
Coverage doesn't apply to damage caused after delivery, improper installation, unauthorized repairs, or use outside normal household conditions.
Cosmetic damage that was disclosed at the time of sale — dents, scratches — is not covered under warranty. That's separate from mechanical function.
